1. About This Project

BeyondHuman is an online, tick-based multiplayer survival strategy game in early access. The game is playable, but it is provided on an “as-is” and evolving basis: features, mechanics, content, and game balance may be added, changed, or removed at any time. By using this website or creating an account you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

The game is intended for individuals aged 18 or over. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement and that your access to and use of the game is lawful in your jurisdiction.

3. Registration & Accounts

Registration creates an account using your email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. You may create characters and access game features subject to these Terms and the access requirements described below.

4. Access to Play

BeyondHuman is access-gated. Outside of any promotional or grace period, playing the game requires that you currently hold a qualifying NFT (a Founder Avatar or a Recruit NFT) associated with your connected wallet. This is a “hold-to-play” model:

• Access is granted while you hold a qualifying NFT and is revoked if you transfer or sell it.
• Your characters, balances, and progress belong to your account, not to the NFT, and remain with your account if the NFT is transferred.
• Returning (migrated) legacy players are granted a time-limited grace period of free access for a limited time (end date to be announced). We may extend, shorten, or end any grace or promotional period at our discretion.

Creating an account is always free; the requirement above governs the ability to play.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the game or website for any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to disrupt, attack, reverse-engineer, or misuse the service or its data;
• Submit false, misleading, or another person’s information;
• Exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics for advantage — and you must not exploit a vulnerability and then report it (no “exploit-then-report”); report suspected vulnerabilities responsibly instead;
• Use automation, bots, or scripts to interact with the game;
• Operate multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage, unless expressly permitted.

6. Virtual Items & In-Game Currency

The game features in-game items and an in-game currency (“COGS”). Except where these Terms expressly provide for on-chain deposits and withdrawals (see below), in-game items and balances exist within the game and have no guaranteed real-world monetary value. We may adjust game mechanics, pricing, issuance, and balances as part of normal game operation and balancing.

7. Wallets, NFTs & Digital Assets

You may connect a self-custodied cryptocurrency wallet to verify ownership of a qualifying NFT and, when enabled, to deposit or withdraw COGS. You are solely responsible for your wallet, its private keys, and any transactions you authorise. On-chain transactions are irreversible and outside our control.

NFTs are issued and traded on public blockchains. Owning a qualifying NFT grants access to the game while held, as described in “Access to Play”. We do not control secondary marketplaces and make no representation about the resale value of any NFT.

8. Custody of COGS

When you deposit COGS or earn COGS through gameplay, those balances are held by the project on your behalf as a custodial, off-chain ledger balance, backed by COGS held in project-controlled treasury wallets. We are an independent game project, not a bank or a regulated financial institution. Custodial balances do not earn interest, and holding COGS is not a deposit, investment, or savings product.

We take reasonable steps to safeguard custodied balances, but holding digital assets carries inherent risk, including risk of loss due to technical failure, error, or security incident. The current project treasury and related wallet addresses are published on our public economy page for transparency.

9. Deposits & Withdrawals

On-chain deposits and withdrawals are not available at launch and may be introduced at a later stage, at our discretion. Their availability, timing, and terms are subject to change. If and when they are enabled:

• Withdrawals are processed manually (admin-mediated) within a reasonable period, and may be subject to verification and to per-account or per-period limits;
• We may require additional verification (including identity verification) before processing a withdrawal where we consider it necessary or where required by law;
• You are responsible for providing a correct destination address; transactions sent to an incorrect address cannot be reversed.

10. Token Risk Disclosure

COGS and NFTs are digital assets and may be volatile or illiquid. Nothing on this website or in the game is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and nothing should be relied on as a promise of future value or profit. You should not acquire COGS or NFTs with an expectation of profit.

The regulatory treatment of digital assets is uncertain and varies by jurisdiction. You are responsible for determining whether your use is lawful where you live and for any taxes arising from your activity.

11. Bug Bounty Programme

We may operate a bug-bounty programme rewarding the responsible disclosure of genuine vulnerabilities. Rewards (where offered, paid in COGS) and their amounts are determined at our sole discretion based on severity and impact. Eligibility requires responsible disclosure: you must not exploit a vulnerability, access or alter other players’ data, or disrupt the service. Scope and terms may change at any time.

12. Promotions & Events

From time to time we may run promotions, giveaways, or events (for example a treasure hunt) with prizes. Eligibility, prize amounts, the method and timing of any prize payment, and winner verification are determined at our sole discretion, and our decision is final. Promotions may be amended or withdrawn, and are void where prohibited by law.

13. Legacy Account Migration

BeyondHuman continues a previous version of the game. Where you held a legacy account, we may migrate your account record, in-game balances, and items as recorded in our data, and notify you so you can reclaim your account. Migrated balances and items are provided as recorded by us; we reconcile them in good faith but they are not a guarantee of any real-world value.

14. Intellectual Property

All website and game content, concepts, and materials are owned by the project owner unless stated otherwise. Registration and gameplay do not grant you any rights in the game or its content, beyond the limited right to access and play it under these Terms. Where you own an NFT, your rights are limited to those of the NFT itself and do not include rights in the game.

15. Account Termination & Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the Account settings page. Deletion is permanent and removes your characters, progress, and game data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

If you intend to withdraw any custodied COGS balance, do so before deleting your account (once withdrawals are enabled). On-chain assets you self-custody in your own wallet are unaffected by account deletion.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the project owner is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this website or the game, including loss of in-game progress, items, or balances, save where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the project evolves. The “last updated” date above shows when they last changed. By continuing to use the website or game after updated Terms take effect, you agree to the updated Terms. As a courtesy we will take reasonable steps to flag material changes — for example a notice on the site or by email — but you are responsible for reviewing the current Terms. If you do not agree to an update, you should stop using the service, and you may delete your account.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
